Hi, my name is Joey. I am a Sociology Undergraduate at Nanyang Technological University.

As someone who values growth and learning, I always find myself outside of my comfort zone seeking new opportunities to stretch myself. 

In my free time, I enjoy volunteering. I have volunteered extensively in many different sectors, serving a wide range of demographics and psychographics. Through my journey, I discovered that I am passionate about making a difference in Singapore's mental health scene and gearing youths-at-risk towards success. 

Apart from volunteering, I also enjoy reading and writing. For my final-year-project in my polytechnic, I chose to pursue Journalism. Inspired by CNA Insider, Our Grandfather Story and Humans of New York, I relish telling unique stories behind everyday people.
